Is Texas Congresswoman Sheila Jackson related to Michael Jackson?
She went to California to be with Michael Jackson's family and attended the memorial service! She also tried to pass a resolution in Congress to recognize Michael Jackson for his music and humanitarian efforts! Unfortunately, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from California(same state Michael Jackson lived) wouldn't even allow a vote on Sheila Jackson's kind gesture! Sheila Jackson rocks! And normally, I don't like politicians. But she is awesome for wanting MJ to have a resolution. Nancy Pelosi, on the other hand, can jump off a high bridge, for all I care. I don't think she is related to him, though. And that Perry King is a jerk.

RE: Is Randy Jackson related to Michael Jackson? I remember reading on the internet somewhere like ten years ago (before wikipedia existed) that Randy was in the Jackson five with michael or something. Is this true? Are they related? Do they even know each other?

No.
MJ was born in Gary Indiana and Ms. Jackson is native of New York who moved to Texas after attending U. of Virginia Law school, was a City of Houston judge, then a Congresswoman after death of Mickey Leland, previous House member who died in a plane crash in 1989.

No, I don't think that they are related and I agree with Nancy P. Michael was a great person and gave a lot to charity and we will never forget him or that. Besides if Michael was alive he would not have cared about such things he only cared that his fans loved him and we do.

don't know, but i can understand why Pelosi did that, don't get it twisted, I'm sure it wasn't because of anything your thinking , more that people like Rep. Peter King would make a big deal about it, I can see why she did it , so should you
