I'm looking for a song..?

I don't have much details about it, I can hardly even remember lyrics & I don't know who it's by.

In the song it mentions somehow how the guy singing is sick of being alone or by himself, or something.

The artist is one guy, but he's got a name that makes it sound like it's a group singing it.

Any help? Sorry I don't have more specifics. :/

    Might either be Dashboard Confessional or Secondhand Serenade (as the artist)
