Gator Football Tryouts - Does anyone know the drill?

To all that have played or plays football, especially in Florida Gator area - can you help me out on where to go or what to do to 'attempt' to make it onto the team as a walk-on.

I am new to the country and am wanting to see if I can make it on the roster. If this dream can only be a reality next year - what are the steps I am needing to take to do this?

A lot of hard work. It's probally different for you though because highschools around my area don't cut for football just basketball. I'm guessing you might play running back though I bet you will get smashed pretty damn good. For highschool we had 3 practices a day from August 1st until school started then we had 2 hour practices after school. I don't know what you would do in tryouts, but in actual practice our school had days divided. Once the season kicked in Monday was film, Tuesday was defense practice, Wednesday was offense practice, Thursday was running both defense, offense, and special teams, and Friday was game day. Be in for a lot of hard hitting and contact. You're small so your going to take a beating if you join.
