How can i recover my itunes library from my ipod? (windows)?

Question

I recently got a rather nasty virus that, as well as corrupting anything it could get it's filthy hands on, destroyed most of my files, including music. I subsequently had to perform a complete restore, so any trace of my music on my computer is now a distant memory. My ipod however has all of my songs, audiobooks and podcasts on it (ipod touch 32gig if that makes any difference) i know there are programs that i can use to basically rip this data from my ipod but for the life of me i can't find a comprehensive guide. What would the Yahoo! answers community recommend?

Without a doubt, use iPod Transfer.

You can restore it in a minute or two.
