Why didn't either of Michael Jackson's wives keep the Jackson name?

With a name like Presley and you the daughter of Elvis and already well known whay would you cahnge it.

As far as Debbie Rowe, she didn't want to be his wife anyway, she only did all that for the money and Michael agreed maybe that was part of the deal.

I think Debbie Rowe still has the Jackson name. As an Rowe-Jackson. Not that it adds any charm to MJ's persona or anything...lol

Lisa didn't keep the name because she went back to her kids' father at that time. It would be quite awkward if she kept the Jackson name with her ex-husband back in her life.
