Traveling to Canada in August: Worried about H1N1?
So the title says it. I'm leaving to Canada for a vacation to see my girlfriend to get everything ready for me to move down there. I'm just a little worried.
I'll be gone August 20th - October 15th and were planning on going to be doing quiet a few things like:
FanExpo Convention ( Anime, gaming, celebs, convention )
The Exibition ( Big theme park, carnival )
Canada's Wonderland
Plus other things
I am american, but I'm just wondering if the H1N1 thing is really worth being afraid about still? I don't really hear it on TV at all anymore but maybe once every few weeks, I guess to let everyone know that it's still around. I have very good Hygiene and wash my hands a lot. So should I really worry?
Also is there anything I should do to prevent myself from getting it?
Thanks :)....

The H1N1 is all over the world, including where you are now. So, your odds of getting it is pretty even no matter where you are. But if you are going to be that worried about it, where one of those medical masks when you get to Canada.

Uh, I'm sitting in Canada right now, and wasn't worried until I saw your question.
The Canadian H1N1 only attacks Americans travelling outside the "good ol' USA" :) and is known to lurk in theme parks. Come to think of it, Canadians don't go to theme parks anyway, maybe that's how "they" spread it...

Only if you happen to be a pig. There was a case in Alberta where a farmer's pigs managed to get the flu form him.
Canadians pride themselves in being different, no matter how dubious the difference.
