What is the difference?

Right now there are tons of video cards available, but what is the difference between GT, GTS and other abbreviations? How many of them out there and what's the difference? Thanx!

Update:

I'm talking about nVidia cards.

As far as I know, the difference is that the GTX is usually two video cards together, and it's usually the most powerful GeForce video card, while the GTS is less powerful and is only one video card instead of two,and the GT is the least powerful nVidia video card.

Aren't those acronyms for the specific brand and product names? I'm not sure that GT and GTS are industry wide terms for video cards.

I know nVidia uses GTS for Giga Texel Shader or something like that....

It seems a lot of the time that most of the acronyms, especially when they are in the actual product name, are brand or product specific so you would need to look in the product details to see what it stands for....

Just get the most expensive one and you'll be fine
