x-ray film stuck together how to safely seperate?

i have an appointment tomorrow and my x-ray films are stuck together can i soak them in water to seperate i dont want to ruin them.

    No - just take them to the Dr. as is - an x-ray tech might can use fixative solution to seperate them - but water will only make them gummy. It was probably moisture that caused them to stick together. and water will ruin them -
