When is President Obama going to end the War in Iraq?
One of the main reasons he got elected was to end the Bush war in Iraq! I think he should hold a beer summit and end the war!

I totally agree! He should just call a beer summit and peacefully end the war that should never have been started in the first place!

Obama has always danced around the complete pull out idea. He is an establishment politician who owes his place in the White House to large corporate donations and the compliance of big money media.
If you want the end to US imperialism, you need to connect with your local Green party. They have the radical idea that we should reverse direction in the Middle East. They may actually have the interests of all people at heart.
Don't consider the media to be unfair and unbiased.
The media has always marginalized viable third party candidates. They promote Nader = Spoiler, when his common sense approach would have won him the elections in 2004 and 2008 if he was given a fair chance. Instead, you heard nothing through the media and he is still aggressively promoted as irrelevant through the media.

Iraq is a potential powder keg that could explode and sent repercussions around the world. Obama will end the war, but it has to be done sensibly with a timetable. The Sunnis, Shiites, and Kurds still don't like and trust each other and there is billions of dollars of untapped crude oil still in the ground. We need to act judiciously when withdrawing and make sure we don't create another problem. It's not a cut and dry action, and our best military minds are working on the problem.

it extremely is not over. it extremely is being reported that the troops from Iraq would be abode on the tip of the 365 days, yet Obama had no longer signed something, it grow to be set up like that before he became president. he's in basic terms attempting to sound extra perfect considering he needs to be re elected subsequent 365 days.

Our soldiers are over there to get Freedom for the Iraq people. What greater gift can the United States give to a country than getting rid of the animal that was in charge before ? We even showed respect for their religion by not allowing Christan Missionaries to get into their country ! Wow !

He didn't say "I will end the war!". He said " I will end the war in a responsible manner". When he can , he will. Also it is not Bush's war. Clinto, Pelosi, Reid, and most other democrats voted in support of it.

You make a very good point. During his campaign he promised the troops would be home by now.
Expect more of his campaign promises to end up the same way.
Source(s): Re: You just need to be patient................. Nope, I don't need to be. He needs to honor his promises. He shouldn't have said things he didn't know how to accomplish. - Anonymous1 decade ago
Ending a war doesn't take just a few days to do.
It could really take months, irregardless of who our president was.
You just need to be patient, he said he'll end it, so just wait for it to end.
