What label should be used by the link for creating a new section on Wikipedia talk pages?
On Wikipedia, if you are on a discussion page, there is a link to start a new section, so that you can start a discussion on some new topic or other.
Historically, this button was labelled "+", beside the edit button, but as this was somewhat cryptic, I (through the general consensus of a community discussion) changed it to "New section".
In the new skin, associated pages (like articles and their "talk" or discussion pages) and the actions are separated, with verbs being used for the actions and nouns for the pages. Since the new section link is an action, the usability team has suggested that the text "Add topic" be used.
I don't think "Add topic" is entirely clear—"what's a 'topic'?"—but the decision to distinguish actions by using verbs is entirely rational.
What do you think the label should read? I'd just like a bit of input, preferably from people not entirely familiar with Wikipedia.

I keep + on mine as well, but I've been there for a while.
"Add topic" is OK, but perhaps "Add section" would be better. "Section" is the term used in all documentation and URLs, and I think it's intuitive enough for most English speakers to grasp.

comments and outlines of the product/company is the 1st ingredient i seem for. i elect to be attentive to with regard to the product, so the place is the counsel? Make as lots information attainable as achieveable. Do you have hassle-free hyperlinks to stick to and sparkling procedures people having the ability to put it aside? So i like the records of the product. How do i'm getting it? the less demanding to get it, the greater helpful. Do you enable customers to study your product/company? not needed, yet i like it because of the fact it tells me what people think of of the product/company. Are your pages alluring and colourful? If not, what is going to carry my interest? Product on my own isn't good sufficient. a dash of shade fairly attracts people. ultimately, is it consumer like minded? If it takes an excellent genius nerd to unravel even with the undeniable fact that it, i does not go on the positioning. in simple terms you would be wanting to maintain it hassle-free so as that all and sundry can use it. in case you answer all of those questions, I call that a good information superhighway website. good success!

I keep the traditional "+" with some adjustments on my monobook.js. I personally think "New section" would work the best..."add topic" seems a bit confusing.
