My most obscure question so far: pregnancy, pheromones, perfume and mosquitoes?

You know that place behind your ear where women sometimes put perfume? Well, that's the spot where all the mosquitoes try and bite me. When I wasn't pregnant they would go for my legs or bum (you know, bigger surface area etc :) LOL

But now it's the tiny little space behind my ear. This morning I took the dogs out and there were 4 mosquitoes on my right ear and 3 on my left (not all at the same time) trying to bite me. Does anyone know if it's a high pheromone area or something? Slightly freaky!

ps: apparently pregnancy has also made my skin way more sensitive, so I killed all the buggers before they latched on because I felt them landing!

Flies, gnats, and mosquitoes flock to me. Mostly my head and arms. The weird thing is they don't fly away when I swat at them! They just let me hit them. So its easier to kill them now, but I feel like screaming when I'm flailing my arms and they're latching on for dear life.

My skins also really soft and sensitive now, haha.

I have read in the book "What to expect when your'e expecting" that flies, mosquitoes, gnats, etc are attracted to pregnant women because of the pheremone that we produce. It makes sense because it is also happening to me. I have to go outside with insect repellent on to keep them off of me, because they stick to me like glue !
