What can cause a women to spot two weeks before her period?

I am spotting but I don't know why?

    Any chance of pregnancy? Sometimes spotting is a side-effect. I agree with the above answer, a trip to the doctor should help to determine if there is anything unusual going on. Best of luck.

    If you just started taking the pill, or STRESS. It's probably nothing, but I would go see a doctor just to make sure.

    its normal its just the blood clots it happens to me most of the time
