Skeptics, Why Would Bush's CIA "Invent" Global Warming?

Those of you who think that global warming is some sort of hoax, the U.S. intellignece community is simply not competent to uncover this supposed plot? What motivation could they possibly have for not detailing the plot?

If such a plot exists, why has no government study of it been obtained via the Freedom of Information Act?

Who outside of the government has outlined any hoax in detail? Not vague scare tactic propaganda in one article, but a detailed analysis of who is involved and why. I've never seen a single shred of evidence of such a hoax, but please feel free to enlighten us with the compelling evidence that anyone has uncovered which convinced you to be fearful of such a hoax.

With the total lack of such explanations and evidence, it baffles me why some people would assume that some sort of global hoax is the most likely explanation for the warming that scientists have been measuring and documenting for decades.

If there's any plot which HAS been uncovered, it was the one by the Bush Administration to withhold and downplay the evidence to delay our action against the fossil fuel industry (and boost his family's profits):

Revealed: the secret evidence of global warming Bush tried to hide

Global warming is not only happening here, it is also happening on Mars, Jupiter, Neptune's moon and Pluto.

The tiny impact our space probes have had on Mars does not reflect a significant CO2 output which would result in Martian global warming. Also, the one small probe that we crashed in Jupiter does not warant its rise in temperature. We have never landed a probe on any of Neptunes moon's or even come close to Pluto. Yet all of these planets are experiencing planetary rise in temperature. Seems to be something else might be effecting the rise in temperature. Perhaps a greater output from the one single source of heat that we all share, called the "sun".

Global warming is nothing more than a hoax. When we observe similar temperature increases across numerous planetary bodies however distant, and those bodies have not been interfered with by man, then you have to eliminate that man is causing only one of those bodies (Earth) to experience an increase in temperature. Global warming is not scientifically based.

Also, a look at Earths geology reveals a much warmer, wetter earth in the past. Millions of years ago when man had no effect on the environment. Then for some reason the planet cooled and we went through ice ages. Now it's warming up again.

Observe the other planets in our solar system. Observe the geological data. The only conclusion is that man is not responsible for global warming.

    That is extremely naive.

What is your source? National Enquirer, Weekly world news, Pravda. That is what it sounds like. You seem to be implying that skeptics are conspiracy theorist but that is the sort of asinine thing you see in tabloids and the paranoid delusions of radicals. "Bush tried to hide it". That is complete garbage.

everyday this year can be freezing and that doesnt mean a thing. overall the climate of the entire globe is warming. it is warming at a rate that animals and humans will not be able to keep up with. as you know the arctic is melting, and when it does, probably not this generation but maybe the next and deffinately the one after. the sea levels will rise causing japan, other islands, and the costlines to be under water. and thats only 1 out of many many problems it will cause.

It is very simple. Anyone who has studied the matter knows that there is a great deal of uncertainty when it comes to the global warming theory. Even the IPCC states that cloud cover is a source of great deal of uncertainty. But the role of clouds is the most important factor in the AGW theory. It is the difference between a minor warming and catastrophic warming.

So when people acknowledge on the one hand that there is a great deal of uncertainty and on the other hand state that the debate is over, then these people are acting in a political way and not scientific.

well clearly, they would've invented global warming so that everyone hops on the green bandwagon, thus distracting us from his true schemes of world domination!!

now, the details of the plan are sketchy at this point, but we do know for sure that it involves a model of an iguanodon and a stuffed hippopotamus. obviously, we're dealing with a highly intelligent and extremely malicious organization.

It's not a conspiracy so much as a bandwagon. If it were a conspiracy, someone would have fabricated more compelling evidence.

When it gains momentum, more people want to jump on to be part of the movement.
