What is the obsession with people here on Food & Drink with the Chinese food?

It is cheap and popular.

It's human nature to try different things and people tend to stick with foods they like. And, i mean, there's a lot of chinese restaraunts.

well, as what I consider myself as an average American, my favorite foods are almost all asian... stir fry, General Tso's, wontons, sushi, etc.

its also what home cooks usually have more questions on than say, meatloaf or spaghetti.

i don't consider it any more bias than someone who like Italian food, french food, or Ukrainian.
