Hi this is kiran from mumbai i have took a policy for my son, jeevan tarang(lic of India) for 20 years.What benifits will i get after 20 years he is noe 3 yrs?

You will get approximate 70% of sum assured in form of accumulated bonus on the policy till the date of maturity.
Additionally from that date you will get annuity (sort of interest) @ 5.5% of the sum assured lifelong.

Going by current bonus rates of 48 rs per thousand you will get back rs. 480000 as maturity bonus at end of 20 years. thereafter you will get 27500 every year till you reach age 100. On your death, the nominee will get 5 lacs plus loyalty addition. It is eligible for accident benefit. Your premium should be rs. 24610 without accident benefit and Rs. 500 extra for accident benefit. Please check the exact premium amount as well as your policy document.
