I need someone who is familiar with South Carolina labor laws?

I need to know if an establishment who works a person an eight hour shift ( on your feet ) is required to give you SOME sort of break or a lunch break. I am currently working for an establishment who does not give its employees a break at all.

Update:

Isn't there a FEDERAL law or something, as for me, I am just not able to walk all day and never have a chance to sit, can anyone, and WHY does it apply onluy to peopleunder 18, its the older people that need to rest

you are able to desire to be paid for the time you're there. there is not any SC or federal regulation that demands a minimum style of hours in step with day. i might recommend you artwork some thing out with your business enterprise so they permit you to call in extremely of going to artwork to work out while you're necessary.
