What horse-related items do you collect?

I used to collect AQHA jounals....I had a few decades of them before I finally gave them away a few years ago. But I still have decades of other horse publications stacked in bins, and I just haven't been able to part with them yet. I've also saved some vintage bits and miscellaneous relics, some of which I actually used many decades ago, and have snips of hair from the manes of every horse I've owned over the years. I have bins full of the ribbons from my own and my daughter's showing years, and even some of the big old belt buckles from the Western competitions. They've been on the throw away/ donate list many times, and never made it out of the bins yet. Soon though...hehehe.

I also still am storing some of my own childhood toy horses, and many of my children's Breyers. I guess I store things more than I actually collect them. Either way, they remain here with me !!!

I collected Breyer horses when I was younger, so now I have about 25, 4 people, 4 saddles and bridles, a truck and trailer, and two barns. Also, I read the Pony Pals series.

Now that I'm older, I really don't collect anything. But I LOVE buying tack. That's like my favorite thing to buy. I'd much rather buy tack than clothes or anything else.

Breyers being my biggest (over 250 of the traditional, 30 of the classic, and 15 of the stablemates)...

Books/magazines...just about complete collections of Marguerite Henry and Walter Farley from when I was a kid. I don't read them anymore, but they're still in the bookcase.

Painted Ponies...only have about 8 of them.

Horse T-shirts..mainly collected from christmas and birthday presents lol. As well as one from each vacation, pretty much.

And just about anything else horse-related. But yeah, the Breyers are the biggest collection I have.

I collect Breyers. I also collect merry-go-round horses (I got my first one when I was 5). For my breyers, I have Gypsy King (I think that's his name), Seabiscuit, Akhal-Teke ('07 ltd. ed.), Sierra Blanco, Templado, Brandywine ('04 ltd ed), Footloose, Blue Suede Shoes, Misty, Stormy, The Let's Ride English Collection, and a color crazy mare and foal....

I don't actually have that one though.... Most of mine come from these two local amusement parks, but they are really nice and a lot like the one in the picture.

I collect magazines (mostly young rider). I collect horse pins and horse necklaces as well. I also collect horse books.

Well I just got my guy a brand new winter blanket, so I'm set there! Also this summer I got a really nice brand new pad, so im also set there! I have two western saddles, one barrel saddle and one pleasure/trail saddle, so I dont need a saddle!! I'd like a box of vitamin supplements for my horse, and my own bag of grain instead of the barn's supply. I would actually also like better boots cuz mine dont fit right and rub my heels! I also would like an under armour sweatshirt from back in the saddle magazine that says "Horse Power" Yay christmas!!!!!!

I own 2 horses, but im not a horsey person so I dont collect anything though when I was younger I collected breyers. And to all those who are gonna say something about me owning horses and not liking them. I love MY horses, I like horses in general Im just not obsessed.

Bits,(love those old spade bits) Navajo retro saddle blankets, and headstalls. Also reins, splits, romel reins, spurs (retro designs), trophy(those won) and horse show jackets from specific events (the World Show, NRCHA events). Books, particularly those by Bob Avila, Les Vogt, Bobby Ingersoll. Videos, the Les Vogt series, "Heros and Friends". The "Painted Ponies". Old brass sleigh bells.

Magazines - I never throw one away. I have years worth of Young Rider, Equus, and Horse Illustrated under my bed....

I have millions of horse magazines i never through them away and always look through them again i hae them in bigg boxes under my bed i have PONY magazine which is one for horse lovers teenagers and i get NZ HORSE AND PONY!
