Pick three of these running backs to start in week 4?
In a PPR league.
Stephen Jackson versus @ SF
Clinton Portis vs Tampa Bay
Ryan Grant @ Minnesota
Cedric Benson @ Cleveland
Glenn Coffee vs St. Louis
Grant and Jackson both have tough matchups. Coffee has a good matchup and will get a heavy workload, but is unproven. Benson has done well against tough defenses and now faces cleveland, but he is nursing an injury. Portis has been a huge disappointment so far. I'm leaning toward Jackson, Benson and Coffee.

Go with Jackson, Benson and Coffee. Jackson has a bad matchup but he will be there best offensive weapon. Benson and Coffee have great matchups.

Jackson, Benson and Coffee
Jackson is the focal point of their offense, Benson is a top 10 running back so far this year and Cleveland is horrible, and Coffee is playing a bad defense in St. Louis and will get most of the work.

Steven Jackson, Cedric Benson and Glenn Coffee are your best options this week. They all have really good matchups.
Ryan Grant will be facing against the Vikings, who are absolutely stingy against the run. Clinton Portis (as you mentioned) has been a huge disappointment, and it's not likely to change, even against a bad defense like the Bucs.

Benson will tear it up v Cleveland.
Coffee will do the same against StL.
SJax is a beast, he always has a chance to break one
Grant v MINN D = Bad News
Portis is injured and may see a light workload.
