Question about my '96 jeep grand cherokee laredo, 6cyl?

We have intermittent loss of power, sometimes all at once sometimes slowly. Restart is after a sit for a while. Starter checks ok, battery is new,new fuel filters,new plugs and wires ,new vacuum hoses. The plugs are fouling( dry soot). Any ideas folks?

    Try replacing the coil. There may not be enough spark reaching the plugs causing them to foul.

    check the fuel pump pressure
