    1) (solve for M) 2m=3=n

    2m=3, 2m=n

    Divide by 2:

    m=3/2, m=n/2

    So m is 3/2 and m is n/2. Was that a typo, or were there really supposed to be two equals signs?

    2) (solve for w) 2/w-y=z

    Add y to both sides:

    2/w = y + z

    Multiply both sides by w:

    2 = w(y+z)

    Divide both sides by y+z:

    w = 2/(y+z)

    So w is 2/(y+z)

    I hope that helped!

    Edit:

    OK, here's the new solution then

    2m+3=n

    Subtract 3 from both sides:

    2m = n - 3

    Divide both sides by 2:

    m = (n-3)/2
