B&A? What are some good, preppy girl names?
Hi peeps. :)
I've been thinking about starting a story. All I'm looking for now are some good girl names. Some modern ones, or oldies, ones that seem to go good for a girl in a story.
I'd appreciate it so much if you didn't suggest Allie, Annabelle, or Cara. I really like those names, but what do you think? And also, Tara? I always thought Tara was a cool name.

Are you looking for "preppy" as in classical, sounds like up the main line out of Philadelphia/ Bryn Mawr types? Then maybe Allison, Virginia, Penelope, Candace (never Candy), Abigail, Emily.
Or were you looking for airhead Valley Girl preppy?
Then try Tiffany, Candy, Missy
or names intentionally misspelled compared to their classical spellings indicating mothers who want to show how "special" their kids are (and sentence them to a lifetime of irritation) like Abbygale, Emmylee.

I like really unusual names like: Summer, Liberty-Butterfly, Arizona, Storm, Star, Rainbow, Ciana - pronounced C - ANNA.
