Anyone has a Boston Terrier that farts a lot?

LOL, my Boston farts like no other dog that I've ever had or known of. I gets pretty bad sometimes. I try not to give him other foods than his regular dog food but he still gets gassy. The smell wakes me up at night sometimes. Any tips to help control his smelly bowel movements?

Any dog that has a short muzzle will fart a lot. Boxer's, English Bulldog's, Pugs, Boston Terriers. etc. What it is they have a smaller nasal passage so they tend to breathe through their mouths more than their nose sucking in a lot of air. Especially when they eat they suck in a lot of air which causes them to suffer from horrendous smelly gas. I had a Boxer and she too had terrible gas all the time. There really is no way to fix the problem. Even if you feed the best dog food on the market. Your dog will still have gas. It's just how the breed was made.

HAHA! My 2 year old pit is the exact same, I can't stand being in the same room with him. I read that adding one or two table spoons of non fat plain or vanilla yogurt to your dog's food will add the necessary enzymes for complete digestion and reduce gas production in the intestines. Haven't tried it yet but if these smells keep up, I'm going to for sure since people say it works all the time.

All the time!! Its part of the breed. I know people that say "maybe you aren't feeding them the right food".. those people that say that, don't own bostons!!

Watch wat u feed him! Some dogs get gas from human food or dog food. If his diet is high in fat any fat he will have gas. It is ok to have some fat in its' diet but not too much.
