Why does Y!A allow links in questions?
When a spammer puts links directly into a question, a person may mistakenly or unknowingly click on the question, and get maliciously redirected to another site. Shouldn't Y!A just disallow the use of links in question titles? If someone needs to reference a link, let them put it in the details section, so that at least no one gets sent somewhere unsuspectingly.
The worst is when the entire question is just a link, which makes it difficult even to click on the question to report it as spam.
Is there any reason why links should ever be allowed in titles? Is there some way for us to bring this problem to the site administrator's attention?

I agree with your assessment. There are examples of trolls putting in a link that leds to a virus or to something obscene.
However, I also see it as a convenience to the asker, that they can go right to where they need to. This is one reason I always state "This is a safe link", as I am putting my reputation on the line that I will not drop some smack onto them

It is a way to encourage us to Yahoo Search to back up our answers.
You have to use your gut instinct whether you are going to be led up the garden path.
The same applies to questions to save copying and pasting huge questions.
If it is spam report it as spam, check the top box and write Spam in the comments box.

Source(s): Seriously, don't go there. I really do think they need to disable links in the question title.
