Looking for a Digital video recorder that I can use with my outside antenna (no cable or satellite)?

I currently use my VCR but want to find a DVR that i can manually program like my VCR without subscribing to a service. Is there such a thing? I only receive over the air signals for local stations and have not interest in cable of satellite service

Look for DVD recorders with an ATSC tuner.

    Consider a DTV-PAL DVR.

Depending, PC based tuner card and DVR software might suit.

I have a Samsung digital video recorder and all you have to do is set it up like your vhs, you can even keep the vhs set up. I find that the dvr is harder to program then a vhs, but I only use it to make copies from my satellite dvr. It would be easier if I used it all the time.
