In CT with a pistol permit does your handgun need to be concealed?

i have read a few different things on the internet. but i haven't found anything from a State or government site stating that your handgun must be concealed. if anyone could send me a link showing the law of what is correct, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

In CT, the permit to carry handguns allows people to carry them openly or concealed.

The link also mentions some suggestions to conceal but these are simply opinions and carry no weight of law.

What I've found by searching the internet...

Connecticut is not a traditional open carry state. Outside of your own residence or place of business, a permit is required to carry.

The permit that Connecticut issues is a carry permit, not a concealed carry permit, so open carry IS legal with a permit.

Of course...your BEST option would be to contact the local law enforcement authorities who will know exactly what your state law is!
