The best ever is a good rib eye salted and peppered and cooked medium rare on a grill. If you have to cook inside, and want a classic with incredible flavor, try steak au poivre:

I agree, grilling is best. I would hesitate to use that many spices, though. you want the flavor of the meat to come through. Depending on the cut of steak you buy will dictate whether you need to tenderize it. Flank, Round, Skirt and tougher cuts wouldn't hurt to use tenderizer. Tenderloin, NY strip, Rib-eye, Porterhouse, T-Bone and other tender cuts don't need it.
I am a proponent of marinating or dry rubs. I think Emerils seasoning is great and there are lots of commercial marinades that are very tasty.
Just remember these few things when cooking your steak.
1. Use medium/high heat unless the steak is over 2 inches thick, then medium is good. (see link below for steak cooking times)
2. Turn only ONCE and DO NOT poke it, cut it, jab it or mess with it.
3. When it is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before cutting into it so the juices can re-distribute and the steak won't be dry.
Lastly, if you do not have a grill sear the steak on both sides quickly in a heavy pan like cast iron over high heat with a touch of vegetable oil and put entire pan in a 350 degree oven for remainder of cooking time.

use the grill because that makes steak taste good. but my best suggestion would be,
Emril's original essence spice
pepper
little bit of garlic salt
meat tenderizer
and zendors all purpose seasoning.
keep it on the grill till medium rare(:
hope it tastes gooood!

If you like to have a beefy tasting steak with no sauce, I would use this marinade:

If you want a creamy pepper sauce, I would use this recipe:
www.tried-and-tested-recipes.com/beef-fillet-steaks-with-creamy-pepper-sauce.html
This sauce is good with fillet, rump and sirloin. Ribeye is a little too creamy already and would be better with the marinade.
Hope this helps : )
