Have you upgraded Internet Explorer to version 8? What do you think about it?
I had previously briefly tried it; but, had problems, so I reverted back to IE7. Not sure if the problems were due to IE8; so, wondering who's tried it / using it, & other's experiences. Is it better than Internet Explorer 7? Or, are there problems in Internet Explorer 8?

I have IE8 and I love it. It is actually very fast. I've had it for about 4 months, and I haven't had any problems. Are you sure you didn't try IE8 Beta? Betas a lot of times have problems and bugs. Anyways, I highly recommend it.
Good Luck!

Hi, this is Feran with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team. From a security standpoint, IE8 is a much safer browser than previous versions so may be in your best interest to upgrade. In fact a new NSS Labs study shows that Internet Explorer 8 is the best browser for protecting consumers against malware and phishing attacks. It also has many new features such as web slices and accelerators.
If you were experiencing problems with IE8 before, sometimes doing a reinstall has helped other users resolve their issues.

I found the first release to be buggy but the upgrades were OK.
Some web sites don't respond quite right because of how IE8 read the page formatting script but it has a compatibility button to let it read older pages properly.
I prefer Firefox or Chrome myself but Microsoft (Windows) Update and a few other Microsoft features need IE to run properly.

the 2nd is extra advantageous. It has a extra helpful photographs card and it does actually contain a reveal screen. i think of Dell places much less Bloatware on their laptop's. a minimum of, Dell makes use of to. Out of the field HP's generally run somewhat slower all as because of the the Bloatware. the two have an distinctly helpful processor.
