So the Phillies don't bother pitching around AROD or intentionally wlaking him they just hit him?

The Phillies have no class, and you better believe if the Yanks win tonight, AJ's gonna put werth or utley on their you know what tomorrow.

Update:

I'm sorry I'm not buying from mcCarver the Yankee hater ...they throwing at arod, we neede another stat ihbp instead of intentional walk intentionally hit by pitch. Giradi cant do anything tonight, but enough is enough.

Update 2:

Baloney the phillies are hillbillies with clubs just like their manager. They're hittin him on purpose. If clemmons were with us ... they wouldn't even think of it ...

This has become my standard answer. I totally agree with you about McCarver also. CC may get his revenge in the 7th or 8th inning. If not there's plenty of time.

I am 100% positive it was deliberate and the announcers got it wrong. By hitting A-Rod with 1 out, the Phillies accomplish several things:

    (1) A-Rod can't score the runner at third.

    (2) A-Rod at first base poses a minimal risk in scoring.

    (3) Posada could have hit into a double-play.

    (4) If CC hits anyone (by accident) he gets tossed.

    (5) The Phillies may want to hurt A-Rod or at minimum aggravate him and the Yankees.

Also the probability of A-Rod being hit 3 times in almost zero.

The solution: Wait until the moment is right and CC has pitched enough. Then have him drill the best Phillies batter in the head. Case closed.

Aroid is only vulnerable on the inside of the strike zone. He's more likely to get hit if your pitching him inside. Besides intentionally walking him adds four extra pitches to the pitch count compared to one bean ball. The steroids should help him heal quickly.

oh it was an accident? so i guess getting hit 3 times in 2 games doesnt mean anything?

You are a moron, it wasn't intentional. They'll pitch to him when he's up again...
