What are all the problems with alienware m15x laptop?

I have read nothing in the reviews that was all that bad, check the users ratings on the web site

ok, this is probably too late for you nayomerae but im leaving this answer for any one else that could be looking.

Iv had an m15x for 4 years now.

The laptop is extremely well built, very solid (fell a couple of times from the desk and barely lost a bit of paint. the floor was more damaged.) and almost the perfect laptop (to my taste.)

A full batch produced in factory had a malfunctioning GPU (including mine) but dell recalled and replaced all of them completely at their charge (including shipping.)

So, issues i have with the laptop are simple:

1- Bulky. It is quite large and doesnt fit in all bags.

2- Heavy. Most people dont expect to move it much when they buy one, turns out in my case i started needing to move it... quite a problem.

3- No HDMI port. Im no fan of dual screens during games but i like to pass movies on the big screen and the display port just doesnt do it.

In conclusion. Awesome laptop but a bit big and in serious need of an HDMI port. But its looks are awesome! =D

All gaming laptosp have a problem with the cooling. lololol. No common problems with this though. You should probably get a 3 year warranty and you will be fine. They are pretty good laptops.

Alienwares are usually really good, especially for gaming. The only exception is that they are made by Dell now. And I hate Dell.
