what do i need to get an alarm & keyless entry for my truck?
i have a 98 chevy 1500 and i want to install an alarm & keyless entry to it, do i need anything special to install it. and about how much would it cost to have a mehanic to install it for me?

There are kits to do that on Ebay for a reasonable price.The alarm is a pretty straightforward afternoon project.The keyless entry could be quite a problem due to the needed wiring for the doors.Someone familiar with this type of work might charge around $200 as a guess.
