I don't really think about it like that because it's a child's television show. But I'm curious to know what you think.

They're both cartoon characters. They have no sexual preference whatsoever.

I am a SpongeBob fan and all, but I do think SpongeBob is a little gay, and I don't mean it in a bad way. I don't think Patrick is gay, though, Squidward in the other hand, yes, a lot, lol, but I love them all so much, gay or not =P

Nah, I think Spongbob is straight. Mostly because I think he has feelings for that squirrel Sandy or somthing like that. But may be bi-curious.
Patrick is asexual. He could not get any even if he tried.

THis has been applied to cartoons clear back with He-man, when I was a kid in the early 1980's. To answer, only if drawn that way!

no, i don't know why people like looking so deep into stuff like that. it's a kids show, meant to make you laugh. don't over think it. :)
