Could this be Appendicitis?
So I'm scared to death of hospitals, Im scared to death of my own health. I'm one of those people who grew up in a family where you know only ONE part of your families medical history and none of the other. Everytime I come down with the slightest pain I usually don't bother with it much, it still scares me but this time it's much, much different.
I had gallbladder surgery around this time last year. And a few days ago it just hit me. Give or take, three days ago my side started to act up. It just felt weird, like my gallbladder crap all over again. So I didn't really pay much attention to it since I was told it was probably gallbladder phantom pains and nothing more, sad thing is the pains last and last hitting me every once in a while and I knew gallbladder phantom pains wouldn't last this long...
Well for the past few days I've expierenced weird stabbing pains on the right side. More around where my gallbladder is I guess? I eat anything I want and I'm fine, I've felt fine but there was this one day probably a few days ago that I woke up and was instantly sick. I actually came very close to vomiting but never did (only because I hate doing it..) After a while I felt alittle better but something in my mind was telling me something was wrong.
Today I was filling up a pan of water and started to get the pain in my side I guess from lifting it up a little, shortly after sitting down I got cramp like pains almost in the front lower part of my abdomen and back pains in the lower part of my back. I also had these same pains when I was cleaning house one day, bending a lot. They both eventually stopped and again I've been sitting here fine with a few stabbing like pains in the side.
I've never really been sick again, I've felt like a buss hit me. I'm fatigued badly, and so far I've never had a feaver.
Tomorrow im going to the doctor about it, only because I know this shouldn't be put off any longer.
So what do you guys think, Gallbladder Phantom pains or Appendicitis?
Lol. Gallbladder is on your right side. I know, I had the surgery and had it removed and the scars to show it x.x
I had my gallbladder removed because it just decided to stop functioning. I had no stones what so ever at all, it just had very little function to it.

Appendicitis would be in the lower RIGHT part of your stomach.
Gall bladder is on the left side, but the pain radiates to other places, including your back. If you just had your gall bladder out, I would assume the pain is due to that.

I take it you had your gallbladder removed due to stones. some people are just "stone makers", meaning that even though you get your gallbladder removed, you can still produce stones. This can cause the same gallbladder pain when a stone tries to pass through the common bile duct. The pain could also be due to pancreitis or liver inflammation (hepatitis). It is wise for you to see your dr. Appendicitis is felt in the lower right quadrant, and if you press in that area, you would have noted rebound pain, (pain after pressing). It is usually accompanied by fever, nausea and vomiting. Hope that helps.

Appendicitis usually starts with pain that feels like gas, around the naval that may come and go but eventually migrates to the lower, right area of the abdomen. It worsens and becomes constant. There's nearly always a high fever that accompanies it. The pain is sharp and stabbing and the worst pain you've ever felt. It will have you doubled over. I think this is something else entirely. This sounds somewhat like an ovarian cyst but, of course, this isn't a diagnosis.

You're right you should see a doctor right away. Try this test though. Lie flat on the bed, have someone press deeply into your right lower quadrant area of the abdomen (divide your abdomen into 4 parts, you have right upper and lower and left upper and lower quadrants), hold that pressing for about 20-30 seconds then release quickly. Now if you feel pain upon release that's a positive sign for appendicitis God bless and please do not wait til tomorrow to see a physician because if this is appendicitis then time is of the essence here.

well it could be either of the above along with a highly unlikely possibility of multiple kidney stones.
from what i have heard of appendicitis if you apply pressure to the area in pain and it relieves the pain until you remove the pressure, it is more than likely your appendix, in which case you should seek immediate medical attention at your closest emergency room. a burst appendix can be fatal so please do not take this lightly
