I prefer Power Pro and Spider Wire over mono filament for mainline in every situation.

    It's a lot more sensitive.

It's stronger per equal diameter allowing for thinner lines and longer casting.

I used to have my reel reel respooled about every other day while drift fishing for salmon. Any little rock induced nick would cause it to break. After switching to braid a spool of lone would typically last me a season.

Braided line is much stronger. However since I do not like spending too much on fishing equipment I prefer mono which does about the same job unless it is a super load.Where I am from braided cost 4 times as much as mono. Also braided is more visible to fincky fish

I DON'T use Braid. It will ruin a lot of reels and rods' eyes, it is highly visible, and is EXTREMELY expensive. When I am fishing in a "heavy-cover" spot I prefer my line to snap if I get hung up very bad. I much prefer a heavy mono, such as 17-pound.

I only use braid for heavy cover fishing. My favorite is Bass Pro Shops Magibraid in 35lb test. The only time I use mono is for topwater baits (besides frogs) because mono floats as where braid and flourocarbon lines sink.

They have very different characteristics, I use both. I use braid while fishing cover and docks and mangroves, I never use braid while fishing a plug or lure that has treble hooks.

i in my view doubt that your brake traces are leaking. that could desire to be particularly unusual. examine your rear wheel cylinders, your front brake pistons, your front brake hoses, all connect factors, and your bleed valves. As I pronounced, it would be particularly unusual for a 1996 automobile to have rust so extreme that it would rust out your brake traces. it is not cautioned to alter out your metallic brake traces with rubber for protection motives. you do no longer could desire to bend the traces. once you purchase alternative traces to your automobile (in case you %) they are going to be already bent interior the form mandatory to your automobile.
