For the Walleye your best bet would be shiners, especially this time of year. Rig them up on a jig head and fish them vertically if possible, you'll of course need a boat for that. If you're going from the bank then just cast out and let it sit, i prefer no floater but some people like them. If that doesn't do the trick you can fish things like spoons, larger rooster tails, and swimbaits. Just experiement and be patient, you'll eventually find something that'll work for you.

Hehe, I'd have no idea where to even start... just going by assumptions, (and just because I'm joining in the spirit of this little venture going on here today) I'd go with shiners... shiners are the answer to all freshwater fish as far as live bait goes. hehe...
That's some tasty stuff, though... had some when we were up in Ohio... I don't eat fish at restaurants too often, but I couldn't pass it up.
Edit:
Yay! I was right!! hehe

The first thing I always try to use for walleye when in an unfamiliar environment is a simple jig and minnow. You're almost guaranteed to catch some with this set up. Cheap and effective, what more could you ask for? Good luck fishin'!

If I had to bring one thing it would be a dry fly. I would toss it in there and catch panfish or smaller fish. Then I will use those as bait
