is it true iroc motors had steel cranks, hardened rods, and larger oil pump impellers?

want to put this motor into my 83 trans am, i believe the iroc is an 87, yeah i know about the injection that is going to be removed for old fashion carburetter, dual plane manifold, w/ 3 pin distributor

    its the 350 chev with fuel injection. it will go in just be aware that the injected motor is slightly longer at the front.

    no they do not, some of the early small block chevys in the 60s and 70s had steel cranks, and x-rods , the oil pumps are std. some 327, 350, 302 engines had the rods and cranks you are seeking , but you will find the parts you are looking for in any marine engines,

    it will fit you may have to change your motor mounts but it will fit as far as the length worry about it later you might want to modify your rad or do like i did and remove your clutch fan and install a fixed fan they are not as long and works better in my opinion
