Where can I get a loan?

Low income on FTB and Parenting Payment Partnered.

Discharged part 9 for over 12 months.

Refuse to use the hubby, just my income.

I'm sick of searching the web for "guarenteed loans for bad credit" that's just a line to get you in and they deny you, or ask me to add the Hubby, this isn't 1950!

I need to establish my own credit rating, I want to do it with a small personal loan, not a store/credit card.

Does anyone have any serious suggestions on the direction to take in this regard?

Income 15000+ annual

Expenses 325 p/m

No security other than white goods and electronics

Update:

I'm in Australia

Australian answer - Why do you want this loan, is it to establish a credit rating?

Although you want to do this on your own, the banks/finance companies know that if you were on your own, without your Hubby to help cover expenses, your monthly expenses would be a lot more than $325. They have a system where they assume what it would cost you to live and use that as your expense base. It is approx $1200 pm. so you can see that if your income is $15,000 pa there is not a lot left to cover loan repayments.

They will not take white goods/electronics as security. They will however look at your savings record. So if you want a loan, start saving the monthly repayment equivalent into a bank account. Demonstrates that you have the ability to repay that amount each month.
