(Yu-Gi-Oh!)Can I call priority on Swap Frog's last effect?
The full effect of the card reads:
"You can discard 1 WATER monster to Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Summoned, you can select and send 1 Level 2 or lower Aqua-Type WATER monster from your Deck or your side of the field to the Graveyard. Once per turn, you can return 1 monster you control to your hand to Normal Summon 1 "Frog" monster, except "Swap Frog" or "Frog the Jam", in addition to your Normal Summon or Set this turn."
My question is if he gets Torrential'd, can I priority his effect to return him to my hand? Does his effect upon being summoned interfere with it?

Calling priority won't do you any good. Priority just guarantees that the effect will be Chain Link 1. Because it is Chain Link 1, it would be the LAST to resolve. If it was last to resolve, well in the case of Torrential Tribute, there wouldn't be a monster for you to return to your hand to summon a frog with.

sadly Swap Frog would die. He's considered a spell speed 1. Torrential Tribute has a spell speed of 2. in other words, Swap Frog's effect isn't fast enough for Torrential Tribute. He has an optional Trigger Effect, which means you have the choice to activate his effect. Most Optional Trigger Effect monsters tend to miss the timing of trap cards.
