perpendicular distance?

the question is :

the perpendicular distance of the point (2,3) from the line 8x - 6y + 3 = 0, is half the perpendicular distance of the same point from the line 3x + 4y + p = 0.

find two possible values of p.

i have worked out the perpendicular distance for both being:

1/10 and 18+p /5

i just want to know how to work out the two values for p.

thankyou
