Can i apply for financial aid?
I am 16 and no longer have any support from my parents. I currently live with my aunt and i have no money to pay for anything. Is there a way i at 16 can get financial assistance? I know my aunt can apply for government assistance but it gives her the money not me. I want to know if there is something that will directly give me the money.

No. If you were living on your own (single mother, homeless, emancipated, etc.) then you would have a few options available, but as a dependent under 18 you do not qualify. Are you working? If not, the first step is to find a job, then you'll have money available to you.
