Why was my question asking Who will be on YA Christmas Day deleted?

There was not any obscene or insulting remarks made.

I think you should appeal it. It was a great question. It did not violate anything. Please appeal it.

Questions don't have to be obscene or insulting, there are more violation possibilities. Your question violated the chatting rule. If reported by one or more "trusted reporters", such questions will be deleted. It may very well be that you see similar questions, but if you follow up on them, you will notice that most get deleted within minutes.

These are a few examples of what YA calls chatting:

#1:How (are you, old are you, was your day, is everyone today)?

#2: What are you/What am I (doing, thinking of, wearing, etc.)?

#3: Guess my/Can you guess my/What's your (name, age, sex, weight, birthday, location, etc.)?

    #4: Am I pretty?

#5: Do you like my (avatar, web site, poem, etc.)?

However, there are exceptions. If you were seeking advise and if the question is knowledge-worthy also, you may for example ask about how to improve a website, your avatar or your poem...

Note: please do not try to appeal the violation, as I'm sure that Yahoo will not overturn their ruling in this case. As a result you may lose another 10 points.

Somebody, who will definitely be active on YA during the holidays...:-)

I was surprised and wondering the same thing. I'll probably be here on Christmas for a few hours anyway.

    I understand your problem.......

    Some people will report unnecessarily......

Me too reported for 2 times... I'll Appeal to Yahoo.... Yahoo accepted my Appeal and re posted my answers...

You will have a mail in your inbox of about deletion of your question....

And also Yahoo gives appeal link on it...

    U just click that link...

Then just a some comments and click Appeal...

If your request is reasonable in the sense... That means... Your question is not violating community in the sense.. Yahoo will repost your Question and also sends U Sorry mail...

And also Yahoo will treat the reporter as Wrong reporters and will give less influence to them...

If Yahoo declines your Appeal request... U will lose 10 points... and also your question will not posted...

But Yahoo will accept appeal... If its reasonable appeal.......
