My mom has stomach flu....?(20 freakin characters)?
okay, so my mom has stomach flu... and she feels like crap.... but wont take any medicine.... so should i just let her wait it out... or do i have to go shove medicine down her throat?? (not literally) Also, what can i do to prevent getting it myself? (i'm pretty sure she got it from this little kid that was sick @ this one christmas party we were at....)

Wash wash wash wash your hands and the bathroom she is using. There is no meds that will help her really. Just have her try to sip some water so she doesn't get dehydrated. The stomach flu often caused by the noro virus is only passed from vomit/feces to mouth. So as long as you aren't right there next to her when she is sick and clean everything in the bathroom with strong bleach water you should stay healthy. Good luck!
