Software designed specifically for a construction company is expensive, very expensive
and if you a not a large company probably most of it will be wasted especially the money
to purchase the software and then pay someone to train you to use it.
Quick Books (as mentioned above) does very well but you've got to config it to fit
your construction business as it's an off the shelf package - maybe some other
construction company in your area uses Quick Books and maybe they could give
you their thoughts on this software - -from a contractor who actually uses it.

Quickbooks is probably the best off-the-shelf program. It takes a while to learn to use, but can be adapted to just about any industry.
