Are humans part of Nature?

If termites build giant structures that alter the environment and we see them as "Part of Nature", are Humans and their bi products also Natural? If so, aren't all of our doings part of the natural balance? If not, why is every other animal and it's behavior seen as part of the natural balance but we are not? This would only make sense if say, we were alien to this Planet, which BTW you are a kook if you believe.
