Is cloudy really a weather type?
im watching the weather channel and they keep saying that its going to be mostly,partly,variable.... cloudy but in my mind that's not the weather? Weather is Temp, Rain, Snow, Hot, Sunny...
ok I guess I was not thinking as hard into is as I should have !yes sunny is the same so duh on my part. I guess im just saying that for me if its not going to rain or snow who cares what the clouds are doing! :)

Yeah it's a weather type. If you think sunny is a weather type, than so should cloudy.

if sunny is weather, what makes you think cloudy is not weather? I mean if it's not going to be sunny, and it's not going to be rainy, they still have to say what it's going to be.

they say that to distinguish btw the weather being cloudy n being rainy....cos sometimes even though it's cloudy, it might not rain
