Cat meowing non-stop?
My female cat,(Miley) is meowing non-stop!! She is fixed, about 2 and a half years old and a bombay. I got her from the SPCA, has all of her shots, spayed and not declawed. We got a new puppy about 2 weeks ago, she did it when we didn't have him, but now she does it more. We have a baby gate blocking the stairs so the puppy can't get up, and Miley sits there meowing. Her foods filled, water and litter fine. I tried leaving the gate open so she could get down, didn't help. I was cuddling her a while ago. Can't take her to the vet so close to Xmas because my mom isn't paid till Xmas day. Why is she meowing? Thanks ahead.

Honestly it might just be frustration. The whole house in no longer hers. If she was prone to be a vocal cat before (I own two very vocal cats) she might just be doing some non stop whining to demonstrate her displeasure with the new dog. If she's eating, drinking, peeing and pooing fine, then my money is on disgruntlement. She'll probably get used to the dog and quiet down some. Cat's take a long time to get used to new things (longer than we people think they should). I wouldn't be too worried, just give her plenty of her own snuggle time and attention :)

by ability of giving him interest every time he meows, he has come to realize it because of the fact the on the spot 'supply me interest' key. whilst he meows, ignore approximately him. positioned him into the mattress room till he stops meowing and then enable him out lower back. shop repeating this. If he at last learns that meowing does not get him interest, he wont do it as plenty- in spite of the fact that, now and lower back some cats are merely very vocal. in case you nonetheless have worry, see a coach and ask for some suggestion.
