Why does this always happen?
Since the 1930's the trend is clear. But lets not focus on the big picture lets not look at historical data that goes from say 1997. Since 1997 the temperature remains stable if not going down a touch.
So warming believers what is the big problem about throwing out out 98% of the available data and focusing on the 2% of the data that suggest cooling, come on.
Its like ignoring 2000-2008 and blaming Obama for everything that is going on, that is more then naive that is destructive to our country and planet.
For anyone interested in undisputed temp. charts (link below), simply remove the first 150 years of data and there you go, global cooling.

The data since 1880 is recorded temperatures at that time. Before that time temp. and co2 content has been most accurately obtained by ice core samples. Going back 1400 years, the range we are in now CLEARLY is a very steep increase in temperatures since 1920 or so.
So again, just throw out the data you don't like and your position is still in tact.

Your argument is like the pot calling the kettle black. Why not look back thousands of years. At what time in history did CO2 levels cause an ice age or non-ice age. Those of you who would like to use the environment to hold back industry make a living on thin data and assumptions. Much like what you claim is the argument against your conclusions.
