Fantasy Sports Question....?

In head-to-head leagues, how do they determine who has the better standing in case of a tie? In my Yahoo Fantasy Basketball league (head-to-head), I am currently tied for 1st but the standings show I am 2nd even though I already beat the person I am tied with in an earlier week. Why is that?

Any help would be great.......thanks!

    It all depends on the league. Most use total fantasy points as the tie breaker.
