What made me start liking a different type of girl?

In short? You've grown up. You're tired of all the drama those other girls bring, and the lack of emotional connection. You found a woman you trust (cause you're already FWB), who evidently either likes you or your friend enough to bake her a cake. It shows she's also compassionate about other peoples feelings. I've frequently dated girls older than me. I'm only 24 now, and never dated someone 3 years older, but the girl I'm dating now is 2 years older. You also know your FWB isn't into a bunch of drama because lots of girls can't do the FWB thing without causing a bunch of drama.

I'd say get over yourself and give this girl a serious shot. So what if she's a little shorter, a little older, and has an experienced past?

She did something for you that no one has ever done for you before and it came from the heart. That perspective softens us in a good way, provided we will keep that edgy part of us~~the source of our passion.

Because you're looking past looks and seeing personality a lot more. Good for you!

but..... likeing this other girl may be telling you something... go with it tell her you like her alot and not just for the sex.
