Can you help me with a thesis statement, cause i'm really bad at them. The topic of my essay is about the main character feeling control, empowerment, false equality and being proud after committing a murder. The book is Native Son by Richard Wright. Thank you so much.

Those are pretty narrow topics for an essay. You might want to consider revising them or thinking what his feeling of control, empowerment, false equality and being proud after committing a murder prove, provide or do for him. Do they help him achieve anything or add to his demise or change his attitude about anything? I've never read the book, but I think the thesis would be hurting with these topics.

If it's an essay on the character him/her self then I'd say start off by saying who this person is and then go into what has been happening lately in his/her life. Then go into details in the next paragraphs.
But I'm not good at essays anyway.
