Chargers, Favre declines towards the end of the season while Rivers is undefeated

Well first off, their records are the same, but the Vikings have lost 2 or their last 3 while the Chargers have won 9 straight. I think the Chargers have a lot of momentum and they're going to be hard to stop. I think the Vikings are loosing steam. Lets face it, Brett Favre is old. He's a great quarterback but he's slowing down and loosing a lot of his edge that he had earlier this season. I HATE (and I mean absolutely abhor) Philip Rivers, but I think in a battle of quarterbacks this late in the season he would beat Favre hands down.
It would definitely be a good game though.

Chargers because the the Vikings QB isn't the best.

It depends. Who would you want to play on ANY given Sunday? I would want to play the Vikings. Brett Favre is one **** of a leader! Adrian Peterson would need the ball more of course. The Wide Receivers are very young in Percy Harvin and Sidney Rice. Visante Shiancoe is a great Tight End in the making. Pretty much, Brett Favre makes everybody look good (Donald Driver, Bubba Franks). So, I'd go with the Vikings.

vikings because they have proved the most how good they are throughout the season and haven't had any patches like the chargers so i would go with the vikings.

i would say vikings, they have a better defense than San Diego, and their offenses are pretty matched
